For a little background on this event, Tip a Cop is a fundraiser that was made to provide funds for the athletes to be able to compete in the olympics that are held all over the world. The way that this event works is anyone involved in Law Enforcement from Deputies to Dispatcher will come and help the waiters/waitresses for an extra tip. This year we did everything from filling drinks to busing tables and not to leave out doing dishes in the back. Each of us would take a special envelope and talk to the customers about the cause that we were there for. If they were interested in donating anything they would put it in the envelope and we would collect them.
Eventually the night came to an end and we were able to see the fruits of our labor. We worked for a total of 8hrs straight and earned $1,514.63. If you ask me we did pretty awesome! We raised the most money out of the entire state! That is a huge accomplishment for us! So Thank You again for all of those who participated and we hope to see you all next year and the many years to come!!
